In this presentation, we will discuss the concept of port extender technology and how to apply it to future data center architecture. The presentation will walk through the port extender benefits, data center network simplification and ease of use. We will show use cases in the data center and campus networks, with capex and opex comparison charts. Finally, we will present how the port extender family can migrate from 100GbE to 400GbE.
